PROFESSOR HAMILTON AND THE CLIMB TO THE TOP

BY LAYLA AHMED

One day, Professor Hamilton went to visit his brother, Hardis, who lived in Paris. They were sitting outside, when Professor Hamilton saw the Eiffel tower. "What an amazing tower!" he said. "Hey..." said Hardis. Why don't we have a race." "A race to where?" said Professor Hamilton. " A race to the top of the Eiffel tower!" said Hardis excitedly. "Ok!" said Hamilton.

- 5 Minutes Later -

They were now standing at the bottom of the Eiffel tower. "Ready?" said Hardis. "Yeah!" said Professor Hamilton. "3, 2, 1, GO!" shouted Hardis. Hardis ran inside, and Professor Hamilton started climbing.

- 1 hour later -

Professor Hamilton was almost halfway up. He was a good climber, but he was now very tired." Good thing I brought my water!" he said. He put his hand in his pocket, but he felt nothing. "Huh?" he said. He looked down. There was his water bottle, lying on the ground beneath him. It must of fallen out of his pocket when he was climbing up." Uggghhh." he said, frustrated. Then he saw a pigeon. So, you know, cats love to chase birds, and Professor Hamilton was a cat, so...

He chased the pigeon all the way to the top of the Eiffel tower. He was now so tired he could barely walk. He looked up. There was Hardis, chilling at the top, drinking some cooldrink. "How did you get here so fast?" asked Professor Hamilton. "Well.." said Hardis. "You know the Eiffel Tower has an elevator, right?"
