CHAPTER TWELVE: GOODBYE, HARDIS!
They followed Hank until they reached another wall. He tapped that wall two times, and it opened, too. They looked around. They were in a big room, behind a throne. Then they saw some cats marching away, and Hamilton was one of them. “HARRY!” said Hardis, getting up and running after him. “Hardis, NO!” said Hank, reaching to try and grab his tail, but it was no use, he was already halfway across the room. “Well, well, well…” said an evil voice. Hardis froze and looked at the throne. There, sitting on quite a few cushions, was Harper, but he didn’t look like Harper. There was a long scar across is eye, and he was wearing a black cape and a black diaper with spikes on it. He was also wearing a big, gold crown on his little, fluffy head. “Looks like Dad came to join the fun, eh?” said Harper, growling. Hardis froze, like he was glued to the floor. Harper laughed evilly, and lifted a black staff that had a glowing, red gem stuck on the top. Suddenly, Harper pointed it at Hardis and a black beam when zooming out of it, hitting Hardis right in the head. He flew backwards and hit the floor. Harper cackled evilly. “GET UP!” said Harper angrily. Hardis suddenly stood up. His eyes were red. “DON’T JUST STAND THERE! GO AND PROTECT THE CASTLE, YOU USELESS CAT!” demanded Harper. “Yes boss.” said Hardis, turning around and marching out the door.
