CHAPTER EIGHT: THE EDGE OF THE UNIVERSE
WHOOSH!!! There was a flash of bright light. They all opened their eyes. It was pitch black. "Huh?" said Mrs Higgyfiggle. Uncle Hamilton turned on his flashlight. There was a big, black wall in front of them. They all looked behind them. There was outer space, full of stars, planets and galaxies." Hey guys..." said Heila, looking around. "This is the edge of the universe..." she said, awe-struck. "How do you know?" asked Mrs Hamilton. " I read an article about a scientist who went to the edge of the universe... he said it was a big black wall, pitch black, and looked like emptiness. Apparently, we are inside the border." replied Heila. " So that is why we can breathe..." she said, looking around. Uncle Hamilton reached out to touch the wall. "NO!" said Heila, grabbing his arm. "What's wrong? I just want to touch it..." said Uncle Hamilton, annoyed. "If you touch it, it will burn off your hand..." said Heila. He took out a paper from her pocket and put half of it into the wall. It burst up into purple flames. She pulled it out, and it crumbled into ashes. "WOW..." said Hardis, feeling the edge of the paper. "It’s...COLD..." said Hardis confused. "Cold fire?" said Uncle Hamilton.
They heard an odd sound, but it was coming from inside the border. "We WILL find Harry..." said Mrs Hamilton, and she jumped into the wall...and turned into ashes...
